One sudden decision was to begin putting updates like this one on this website and not the WebTechGlobal support website. Thats me trying to test the best approach and find my feet on the internet, in a more serious business way. I say this because sales have been poor, maybe the run up to Christmas but then I can’t be sure.

As for the plugin, well this is not a critical update but I am still working on the URL cloaking which will mainly be used for disguising affiliate links. I thought I would be finished it many days back because I’ve done this before however WordPress is a different environment and so I’ve run into unexpected complications. Don’t worry however such complications are challenges that I thrive on, it is my job!

Short Description

1. URL cloaking now has a “PRIMARY” and “SECONDARY”. The 1st is selectable on Stage 2 along with Automated Pairing, 2nd cancels auto pairing out.
2. Change Stage 2 interface and grouped the radio buttons closer and created a key for their titles to make the room.
3. CSS is not working on some blogs so changed the method for linking to the style sheet.
4. Added a “Demo Mode” setting which disables sensitive functions for using on my 6 demo blogs.

Long Description

1. The secondary option on Stage 2 was the first function added for cloaking your url however if used, users could no longer put a tick in the “Automated Pairing” box. That meant they would need to manually pair Post Parts with each CSV Column which is hardly ever needed since the addition of the WYSIWYG editor. Automatic Pairing does the hard work for you on Stage 2 but not if you select any of the Special options from the drop down menus. So to avoid this being the case I’ve created a column of radio buttons, just like the keywords column etc, so when selecting your “URL” column you can use that and still put a tick in the auto pair box.
2. Now that Stage 2 in the New Campaign process is getting busier I thought I would tidy up the radio button columns. They are pushed in closer together and each column has a single letter as the title which is explained by a new key. At first this can slow a person down but that is not always a bad thing, also once you get to know the plugin it will actually be faster now that the radio buttons are not far apart.
3. Basic PHP change, well a PHP too WordPress constant change. I’m now using “WP_CONTENT_URL” to build the path to my plugins css file.
4. The demo mode is a hard coded switch, not an interface switch. I’ll provide details later on how to use it on my affiliate pages as affilaites can set up a demo and lace it with their affiliate link to the purchase page on this site. The demo setting is mainly to provide me with a far more effeciant way of quickly getting new versions of the plugin installed on my Demo blogs which now total 5.
