General List

All themes are supported with the ability to setup post custom fields, meta and other custom taxonomy. We offer the ability to create content templates to generate unique content for custom field values.

Create up to five levels of categories, two more than most plugins offer. CSV 2 POST can handle single column category data i.e. two or more category names as a single string within a single field (if opened in Excel). The plugin splits the category names, we can configure it with the character that separates your categories. 

We added support for Post Formats, new for WordPress 3.6. We’re all about supporting your theme and that is why CSV 2 POST works well with every theme, free or premium. Our paid edition comes with some extra support for popular themes to speed up configuration. 

Drip feed WordPress posts into your blog slowly or quickly, you decide. You can create posts at a very specific rate by controlling how many posts are created per hour and per day.

We take our duty to you very seriously and working with data is not to be taking lightly especially in a CMS like WordPress. This is why we created a Data Engine that allows us to treat data with care and prepare it better before using it. We also provide Undo abilities that quickly and easily reverse posts or categories CSV 2 POST injects to your blog during auto-blogging. You can make the plugin flag or delete duplicate rows. It is all about achieving better results in the end and avoiding penalty from Google or users who easily discover an auto-blogged website due to tell tale mistakes.

Create content templates that data values are injected into by using a standard WYSIWYG editor. String your columns together to create unique content and even use text spinning which can generate unique paragraphs of text. Content templates can be used to populate anything from post excerpt to category descriptions, with the goal of ranking well in Google.

You are not limited to creating posts. You can create pages and any custom post type. You can setup rules to make use of different post types within the same set of data. Your custom post type taxonomies can also be populated using our Posts Taxonomy form.

The ultimate data importer needs the ultimate support service. In my experience promises of free support for both a free download and the premium do not put paying users first. This is something we are trying to avoid and creating software to help manage support in a way that gives priority to those who have paid. Even donation will get temporary priority, that is how much we care and want to give back to you. A lifetime of free updates for a premium plugin usually indicates that future development will not happen to the extent that further funds are needed from past buyers, to continue the project and get money deserved for great new features. The day we feel our very own digital quill is finished, we will promise a lifetime of updates. Until then our prices and packages are realistic. We can track user history and general error reports within our integrated logging system. A key focus of ours is to make the logging system suitable for business intranets that may have many users and offer statistics that can help in debugging or reversing changes.

This plugin works with data on its own before applying it to posts. You can automatically update data and then systematically update posts. You can exclude specific custom field values from being updated and set rules to automatically administrate posts based on changes being applied  i.e. stock levels selling out triggering a product to be removed or respond to a decrease in price by displaying a SALE image on the page.

We have created our own schedule system to balance automatic post creation and other automated actions. The schedule options allow specific event types to be excluded i.e. switch off data update events or pause post update events. The schedule system has been designed to easily integrate other plugins such as Twitter. Our functions ensure WordPress does not get bogged down with scheduling activity especially when users are visiting.

You can generate tags, set the ping, set comment status, select the post status and apply a custom permalink. There are options for you to change how you carry these abilities out i.e. use your own tags or generate them from a paragraph of text.
